Producer Profile: One of the first registered coffee cooperatives in Honduras, COCAFCAL represents an estimated 12 communities from the municipalities of San Pedro and Corquin in Copan. Together, they work to promote the sustainable development of their local economy through programs offered to members and their families on financial management, technical assistance, production and quality, and marketing. The communities’ primary objectives are to reduce poverty and increase their standard of living. Their development programs have benefitted approximately 5,000 residents of Las Capucas and surrounding regions.

Preparation
Grind your coffee as close to brewing as possible. Match the grind of coffee to your brewing method. We recommend using 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for 6 ounces of water. Adjust the amount of water or coffee to achieve your desired strength.
Certifications


Subtle flavors but very pleasant on the palette.
Honduran coffee is wonderful. I have had cups that are smoother than this but it is still a lovely chocolatey fruity cup.
My favorite so far! love the flavor and doesn't give me heartburn. My boss loves it too.
Will keep trying the other flavors as well, which are also amazing
