Roast level significantly impacts flavor, body, and acidity of your final cup. While we offer roast options to suit different preferences, each roast level brings forward different aspects of a coffee's profile.

Light Roast: Bright, lively acidity, often highlights floral, fruit-forward, citrus, or tea-like notes with a lighter body and crisp finish.*

Medium-Light Roast: Balanced acidity and sweetness with caramel, cocoa, or ripe fruit notes.

Medium Roast: Smooth, balanced, classic profile

Medium-Dark Roast: Rich, bold body with deeper chocolate and roasted notes.

Dark Roast: Fuller body, deeper, more cocoa-forward

The roast profiles featured throughout our website reflect the levels we consider best showcase each coffee's unique qualities. Choosing a custom roast level will result in a different flavor experience. While all coffees can be roasted across the spectrum, certain origins express themselves more favorably at specific roast levels.

Not every coffee origin is ideally suited to a light roast profile. In our experience, many coffees achieve greater balance and sweetness when roasted slightly darker. If you're new to light roasts, we recommend starting with a Medium-Light roast.*
